this time round, i managed to lay my hands on the infamous caramelized banana chocolate cake. and i tell you, it's nothing fantastic. to think i even reserved it despite we were still struggling to find us proper seats. shrugs, guess i expected too much from it. after all, banana-chocolaty stuff is one of my favourites. the chocolate crust is really nice though.
perhaps, i wasnt lusting over sweet stuff tonight. or perhaps, the ham quiche & apple strudel tasted way beyond my expectations such that i wasnt so into cakes. and most probably, i was after some salty-ish foodie. alright, truth is, both the apple strudel and ham quiche were super yummilicious! the apple strudel was extremely sinful for the cream and it's definitely better than the common apple strudel that we usually eat (forgot the shop name all of a sudden). and the cubes of ham inside the eggy-mix are so satisfying-saltish-and-huge, slurps. guess the picture tells a thousand words...
grin, guess what? the cakes are startin to look boring. hence, i believe that im finishing the entire selection soon (less the green tea and sweet potato ones of course, not interested). this is so darn fattening! =)
