the one thing I hate to do.

dread the unpacking each time I come back from overseas. it's already the 18th day since I'm back and the luggage is still lying on the floor, the cleaned clothes are everywhere except inside the wardrobe because that's already a mess by itself.

yea, screams!!!!

I really did a spring cleaning just before the cny. did someone mess up the cupboard while we were away? sheeeesh.

honestly, I have an option; to leave everything status quo, turn away from the mess and ignore my mama's constant naggings. after all, I'm not home most of the time! and all I have to do is to pile everything up till my next trip in April! i did the same when i came back from macau in jan, left the stuff on the floor then pack just before the hk vacation.

BUT, between now to the land of the rising sun, that's still another 35 days away...

the mess is getting on my nerves, really.

once upon a milkshake!

hee the hong kong post is still in my draft, it's super tedious la!



heard about this place quite a while back but never really get down to try their milkshakie.

had an opportunity this evening while waiting for my client to knock off and I decided to arrive earlier to grab a milkshakie!



had the cookies & cream and my first reaction was: Cham la, need to run 10km to burn the calories! Damn yummy and rich but a little too sweet for my liking.

I guess 'work hard lose the lard' is never gonna work on me. I ordered a regular one when I could have just gotten the mini one. Boos.

Feb is coming to a close and guess what peeps, we are one month short to end Q1 of 2011! Scary isn't it? Work has been good and I hope it stays this way! :)

I'm so looking forward to the upcoming weeks as the diving trip is materializing! pool session is gonna be on this sun and then pulau aur in 2 weeks time. yea, I'm excited and scared at the same time.

and I bought a new camera, just that it's not here yet. i hope i can get it just before the bintan getaway? a lil tough but perhaps if I think about it hard enough, it might just arrive on time! :)

had dinner with butty at itacho bugis this evening. the sushis are yummy!

i heart their chawamushi, so much that im so gonna bring the bf to itacho the next time! :)

anyway, I'm officially obsessed with myself; can't stop camwhoring!

Valentine's day!

We don't really celebrate this occasion but still, we need to eat!

Vivo was exceptionally crowded last mon and everywhere's flooded with long queues and hungry people, sheeesh.

We wanted to dine in hog's breathe initially, only to find out that they have vacated and a new restaurant, King Louis, took over the space. While queueing, the bf did a search on his iPad for reviews of the place. And 5 min later, we ended up walking away to Modesto's.

Food at modesto's never disappoints!

Pardon my flash-less iphone camera, I only managed to get 2 shots and gave up.

I simply heart their focaccia bread. And our seafood pizza! Yummilicious!

The bf wanted to try something out of the list of italian cuisine and ordered a not-their-specialty-steak instead. The serving turned out decent and the piece of beef tasted better than it looked. good job!

We've tried quite a couple of items from their pizza and pasta menu, and I must say all is good as of now. I miss their salmon pizza!!! And most importantly, prices are not steep. :)

Do visit Modesto's if you are craving for a nice Italian meal. Strongly recommended!
