rainbow!

i took this while driving along PIE yesterday early evening. it's so pretty that i just got to fish out my canon from the bag while cruising through the damn slow traffic.



i've been thinkin bout chocolate banana fudge cake all day too, to the extend that i went up to choc.a.bloc site and nearly ordered a cake. reality hits me when the question 'what's the occassion?' pops up, haha.

updates!

yepps, i sorta disappeared for a while. i've been busy. haha.

been to the gg<5 sale already? lots of stuff up for grabs this time. i've been shopping quite a bit lately, pretty surprised by myself too. since i got back from bintan on the 14th, i've got 5 tops, 2 dresses, 1 jacket and 1 pair of pants. but it's time to stop, i've got to curb my spendings now that i've got an additional committment. my daddy got another car, and he's letting me drive it around. officially poorer. cashcard, petrol, parking coupons, screams!!!

didnt take a lot of pics at bintan this time cos we went back to the same resort, everything's still the same and pretty. expensive but good food, nice comfy bed, it's simply a nuah trip for me even though i did do a little of planning. grins.

yay, i didnt puke on the ferry there! honestly, i cant say so if i had to tolerate another 30 min on the ferry. im a survivor this time round, sweats.



food is as good! look at his satisfied face, haha.




we did went out of the resort to pasar oleh oleh this time round, it's damn tourist-sy and once you stepped in, you feel like a carrot-head. confirmed. however, the food is much cheaper than that of the resorts and comparable. we still prefer the seafood at kelong though. =)

btw, im so-nearly going to korea in march, just to attend roomie's friend's wedding. how cool is that! unfortunately, after ironing out our schedules and his reservist on the cards, guess we arent going anymore. pouts. we still have quite a handful of things to settle before the next holiday. arrr korea, see you nxt time. =(

argh, irritating!

this gives me another good reason to migrate to livejournal. sheesh.

anyway, bintan is still good but gone were the strong winds, thus made this trip a lil' hot and humid. no matter, great news ahead! the roomie has decided to make bintan a more frequent affair rather than annually. and fyi, i've already checked out prices at angsana and banyan tree even though we were back only yesterday. haha.

wondering what's so captivating bout bintan that keep us going back?

are there lots of things to do there? are the stuffs and spa and massages really cheap? are the food too good to miss?

the answer is none of the above.

it's simply a great and convenient place (only 55min ferry ride) to enjoy a short getaway; to think about your next step; to nuah and get a good rest; to retire from the hectic schedule and put work aside for just 3 days.

the minus point is you might just puke on the ferry if sea conditions get a bit more choppy than usual. still, it's not as tiring as travelling on a flight. (ok, i still long for the bali trip and i've got mauritius on the cards for nxt jan) nevertheless, all of us need a break when we're tired and especially when we just want to go somewhere pretty and not too far from home.

and i cant upload any pics for now, argh!!! major faints.

ha, again! the uobs this time round.

it's been quite a while since we chilled out at one of our houses and 'catch up'. haha, it's really sweet to have a bunch of lovely girlfriends to talk to and we do nothing but gossip and bitch about.... well, let's put it this way, all girls do that.
a pity the zzz monster set in, thus we have to leave slightly after midnight.

indeed, i received a sms from rj today.

i was stunned and of course, happy that she initiated a meetup after so long...even though we havent met up for ages, i believe we are still quite close. after all, we've been some kind of best of pals back in jc! =)

anyway, i must buy the toto angbao draw later on, especially after receiving her text.
i feel im in luck!

seems like cny is the only time i can play mj, mj and mj!
i've been at it almost everyday ever since i came back to singapore, shiok! haha.

that aside, my complexion is at its worst, with 2 big pimples on my left cheek and 1 more on my right. and somewhat, i must have drunk too little water cos my skin is flakeyish, yucks.

hope my little investment on skincare will yield some encouraging results.
