BP turns 50!

Was back at my Alma mater just Friday for the 50th anniversary!


I wasn't excited bout it despite seeing a number of posts on fb bout their excitement hours before the event. In fact, i've half a mind to make a disappearance for that night. Luckily, im reminded that i paid 70 bucks for it. Haha.

However, as I was making a right turn into the familiar road of choa chu kang avenue 4, a surge of emotions overwhelmed me. Even if it's for just that split second, I realized I've graduated for 11 years and counting. I'm glad I made the trip afterall. Bp gave me many good memories throughout my teenage days and most importantly, the gin gang and uobs. On a side note, Bp is the place where we've learnt mune ru valiba and for some unknown reason, we (at least drey and i) just cant seem to forget the lyrics.

The school is still the same except for some relocations and extensions here and there. Somewhat, the classrooms looked bigger than before. Our teachers have definitely grown older so as ourselves; many of them have retired as well. It's great to see the many friends that we have made in the 4 years and of course, catchin time with those that we have lost touch, eg. Mr Yong Yifan!

I wonder if we will still be back 5 years later. The food is really not impressive.

Officially 27!

Hopefully wiser, smarter, healthier and richer!

Celebration started since Sunday; went for brunch with the babes at CM-PB at Dempsey.


Food is great! A pity they do not allow photo-taking of their foodies, we wonder why. Being super friendly and easy-to-pleased patrons, we obediently listened to the waitress without questions. Ha.

I wanted to write about everything but guess it's gonna be a real long entry to just pen everything down.

Birthday is an official day for me to not work and for this year, I just wanna slack. So after breakfast with the roomie this morning, we went to wash our cars, laze around, took a nap before heading out for a really late lunch at everything with fries (yea, again!)

*the roomie just said he's buying salmon for Oreo cos she needs a balanced diet. I don't even get to eat salmon everyday, wth!*

Back.

From goal setting 2010. Dead tired from the 3d2n as I was part of the organizing committee. Knocked out almost immediately after bathing and all, major yawns.

Congrats to my dear gf who just gave birth to a charming baby 2 days ago, she can celebrate both her boy and my birthday together, haha.


And I got my first pressie today, I love it. :)

Good stuff cannot bluff.

This is it.


I know I kinda swear off tidbits but cheesy stuff never fail to weaken my defense against them.

Really, good stuff cannot bluff.

Was at the swensen 1-for-1 lunch treat with the roomie and we got their soup for the first time. Again, good stuff cannot bluff!


The bread is damn good but unfortunately or fortunately, we were already full, so we have to give the carbs a miss. Thank goodness!

Was at the dessert place 记得吃 with my client this afternoon. I heart their durian snowy thingy dessert, sedaps!


Lastly, my fav hangout place yet again.


Ha good stuff cannot bluff!

On a totally different note, bugis is kinda quiet today. Even the parallel parking along Liang Seah street is relatively empty. Not many cars, not many people, not much crowds. Yet as I drove off, I caught this long queue. Weirds.

A brand new month!

That's July for you! And it marks the start of Q3 2010, scary how time flies!

Guess what, waka waka is coming to an end this Sunday. I thought it just started. I think I'm experiencing the signs of old age; reminiscing bout the past. Dammit.

Here's some random updates again. Pictures speak a thousand words!

Good German food! I wonder why didn't they give us a straight 40% discount since Germany raped Argentina 4-0 the previous night. Such a pity.

Lunch @ fish & co on monday with the roomie for our monthly anniversary.





The fish & chips never fail to impress, a lil too filling though. I ended up forsaking half of my chips and the battered mix.

Dinner @ overeasy with my honey butt last night. We had a pasta and wings to share, yummy food but yes, pricey. And a once in a blue moon incident happened towards the end of our dinner! Mr unfriendly decided to give us a treat at 长城粥. It's too good to miss, thus honey butt and I went for second round. stuff.


I feel so fat after all the eating.

Haven't been blogging as frequent cos I'm kind kinda busy these days. With half of the goal set team overseas, I've plenty to deal with in Singapore. Work has been great recently. So yes, kind kinda busy.

Gonna catch the Spain vs Germany match tonight!!! Till the next post!
