yay, back from bintan!
it was a thoroughly relaxing and satisfying trip, and we took lots of pictures! =) will upload the pics when i got most of them from the roommate cos we actully brought along 2 cameras.
the wind was super strong and the waves were scary as it's now the monsoon season. nevertheless, we had a great trip. and yes, i vomitted when we were on the ferry to bintan. in fact, quite a number of people vomitted due to the travelling condition (monsoon season). however, both of us feel that it's quite an experience staying in bintan during this weather, sunny yet windy.
stayed at nirwana resort hotel and we strongly recommended this place. great accomodation, facilities, service and food, just that food @ bintan is a lil' too expensive. a general meal for 2 costs around $35 with taxes and all. and thus, we make it a point to try different restaurants/ cafes for every meal to see where we can get hte best food. free buffet breakfast though.
