Reflections

At times, I'm really not motivated to work. Or rather, most times. Even though I tend to overly-abuse the flexibility of my career, I'm really appreciative of this flexibility.

Because of this, it makes it real challenging for me to do any career switch no matter how tempted i am to go back to corporate. The bottom-line is always 'what's the point? I must be crazy to switch.'

Many of my ex-colleagues left and realized what they had here was the best. A tad too late isn't it? This must have been one of the reasons keeping me going.

Im dead sure and definite that I have taken more than 21 days of leave this year.

And I was just recalled home to send my mummy to the doctor due to a sprain at the back. It's only at times like this I realized how much more good things my career is offering.

It's almost half the year gone and goal setting is here again. Think it's time to think through what I really want and achieve for the second half. Too much time gone into enjoyment and fun in the first 6 months. Time to work!!!

Anyways, I'm really bored in the car while waiting for my mum to end her treatment. So here I'm in the car munching on nuts and trying to finish my work.

Heavy rain

The comfort is I'm still in bed! Shioks la! Hee.

Updates updates: England won!!! And they're gonna face Germany next. Ha but looking at the trend of major upsets, I say we still have a chance! If you do not already know, waka waka not only said bye to France, but Italy as well!


Went to the Full Monty with drey last night and it totally rocks. The screaming ladies were our highlights of the show, they were sooo excited! The lady beside me was basically screaming her lungs out. And yes, the show is ideal after a tough day at work. You have no idea how much more I adore Adrian Pang after the show, he's really great!!!





If you're a woman, you simply have to catch it. It will still be on till 3rd july and tickets are easily available at sistic. If you're a man, the show has got a storyline other than stripping. Haha.

The woman that I was waiting for. We had dinner at food for thoughts, home-made style foodies with great cakes! The chocolate banana cake melts in the mouth, ya guys know I can't resist chocolate and banana!!! Big slurps!



Lastly, new found snacks! The nuts of cos, taste really good and more importantly, it's healthy!

Random.

Just some random postings while waiting for the brazil vs côte d'Ivoire match! At this rate I'm going, think I can contribute my 2 cents worth to mmpoh regarding her write-upso. Hee, yawns.

Attended a company event at chijmes last thurs, it was pretty impressive with free flown of beer and mountains of finger food!


The match watched was Argentina vs S.Korea, really exciting and man, the footballers in blue and white were good! Looking at the tables and current standing, I must say Argentina is definitely one of the more hopefuls to bag the world championship 2010!

Some snapshots of my damn messy table which I have stayed behind to clear on a friday night. Even so, my cupboard underneath is still at war!





Was at Sakae with the roomie just now and guess what? i found this!


Even though the online system is down and not usable, I reckon the froggie is here to put a smile across the faces of their patrons!
