Atonement for my sins

first up, the sins. yes, went lunar with the gang again on fri night and it was the usual stuff, i.e. chivas, beer, and bak ku teh. pictures pictures pictures!

evidence that yc is kinda gone...

the aftermath.

saturday, to me, was a blur cos i woke up at an unearthly hour - 730am when i slept at 5am. wtf. of course, i went back to sleep again but a disrupted sleep is never satisfying. i didnt know how i survived my saturday through the appts and all but guess everything turned out well eventually. what's worth mentioning here is dinner with the roommate at vivo. we found this new eating joint that serves fantastic yummilicious italian foodie! modesto's, right at level 1!

food was really great, in fact the best pastas and pizzas we have eaten thus far. they claim to be traditional bout their style of cooking and because we believe, hence, they're good. 4.5 thumbs-up!!! we ordered the ham and cheese pizza with artichokes and a single portion of the speciality seafood pasta, both tasted heavenly. and the best thing for guys is that their portions are quite big, both emotionally and physically satisfied!

sunday was atonement. and the roommate and i continued our henderson waves journey II. this time round, i drove us up to telok blangah hill; we started with alexandra arc and it's all the way to the canopy walk. didnt manage to go all the way to kent ridge and west coast as poor oreo and her tiny paws were red from all the walking.

the journey...kickstarted with us sighting a big group of kids running some focus camp of sorts and they were playing games in the park. see my new minnie mouse face towel, simply adore it. haha, so cute. and check out oreo's new bone-bone harness, costs us 30+ bucks. the verdict: it's pretty expensive to have pets in singapore. tsk, my minnie costs only $5.90 for 2 pcs @ watson.

and you kn0w what's the best thing bout singapore? it's difficult to get lost with all the signages, haha.

and we are always so into learning...in this case, learning more bout the nature and botanicals...

the walk through the alexandra arch. it's quite a long stretch of metal grillings and it is a downslope, so was really easy to walk through. ha. anyway, the second part of the bridge after preston road is still under a bit of construction for the structure. the path is alright though, just that we saw construction workers working on the supports below the bridge.

if you feel you're not into walking/hiking of any sorts, at least get down to hort park directly and explore it as well as the floral walk, it's beautiful there.

a glass house! =)

at the canopy walk!

alright, pictures overdosed. till the next time! =)
