A guy i met today.

is a potential client. but what's more interesting about him is his attitude towards life.

a bit of background info, he's a pretty decent and pleasant looking guy in his early thirties even though he looks a few years younger than his age. he graduated overseas (not australia) with a good degree and is holding a stable career and most prob, a mid-high income earner. he's single and not gay, owns a car, has some investments and exercises regularly. his main language for communcation is english.

usual expectations: seen the world, knows everything in life, parties quite a bit, has a few cards in wallet, ta-da-ta-da, you get the drift?

but he's an outlier, not in a bad way but in fact, i applaud him for who he is.

the real him prefers to use cash and he has only got nets. it's not like he cant apply for cards, just that it doesnt bother him. (alright, the roommie too cos he doesnt see the need for credit cards) and he doesnt care if he pays more for a laptop or desktop as long as he gets what he want (even if it means he will be kana tok) he doesnt know what he wants or what he has to look out for when he buys a gadget, he will buy as long as his friend says it's good and he will pay. in my opinion, he has no budget for anything as long as it's within his means and he needs it. and he knows nuts about financial planning, he buys policies because his relatives/friends recommended him. he's dead sure insurance is not for him and he doesnt bother to even think why this is so. basically, he's simply not the type who knows the difference between ram memory and harddisk space, he's not the type to know which card has more privilleges, he's not the type to find the best bargains, he's not the type who cares if the whole world collapses as long the people dearest to him and himself are not in it.

he simply doesnt care about the less important things around him. alright, why will anyone care about the less important things you may ask? however, his definition of less important things is not the same as us, mind u. his definition of important things will then perhaps be things that occur to him, eg family, money, that's all i guess.

while most of us are trying to be somebody we want to be or we can never be, he is just being himself and leading a life he's happy and comfy in.

isnt this the happiest way we can live our life?
