Macau 2011, 15th-18th Jan

the first trip of the year and the first time i took a flight alone. i did a mini pre-trip to join the girls (who were already in HK) in zhuhai, the bf reached macau later in the evening with the main group.

the thought of flying alone was kinda scary but all turned out pretty cool. the bf did ease a bit of tension by sending me to the airport and accompanying me till it was about time to check-in and i was on my own after that. BUT, all i had to do is to find the way up the plane, sleep and sleep and sleep and get out of the plane upon touch down; immigration was easy and the Venetian bus was just outside.

well, technically i wasnt alone because i bumped into a gf on the plane. guess both of us were pretty stunned to see each other. after all, what's the chance of bumping into someone you know on a 605am flight?

the grand venetian that never fails to impress. all credits go to lala gracie for helping us with the booking and we gotten a really good rate for the one-night stay. :)

we shifted over to sofitel ponte 16 for the next two nights and checkout our luxurious room there. this is one hotel that i strongly recommend for its relatively economical room rates (compared to venetian), centralised location, excellent breakfast and comfy stay. :)  impressive! it's only a 10min walk away from the central shopping area and the ruins of st. paul's.

and the toiletries in the bathroom are all from....

tada, hermes!

the main agenda of the trip, our organizations's dinner & dance at Grand Lisboa.

didnt do much shopping in macau except for all the local products eg. almond cookies & egg rolls. did most of the shopping in zhuhai! got 2 pairs of new boots and a pile of accessories. hee, cheap and good! also did a bit of sightseeing here and there.

the people in macau arent really that short!

unfortunately, all the photos are with the bf and are not uploaded anywhere except for some that's already on his blog HERE.

i just cant stop thinking about this.

yes, im drooling. luckily, im going to macau again in a week! folks, please let me know in advance if you want anything from hk/macau! :)

good night world!
