eventful weekend.

spent my weekends pretty well.

met the partner on sat night @ PS carrefor to get the stuff for our children's home visit the next day. we came across this advertisement which looks and sounds a bit interesting, haha. in case you cant get it, it's the word 'suck'.

she insists that this picture be posted; her first fbt! haha.

met the roommate @ ecp sunset bay after that. love this place, a pity it's a bit too far from my place.

and today's at the children's home; yvette and us organized this sandwich-making competition for the kids. it's not important whether the sandwiches turn out tasty, it's not important who win the competition, it's not even important if the kiddos learn how to make sandwiches. i guess the best thing they get is to have us as company on a sunday and us, to see the joy and happiness on their faces while letting their creativity juices flow and workin hard on their own creations. personally, i see the laughters and grins on their faces and there's this huge sense of satisfaction even though the session lasted only for 2 hours. but i believe what they need is constant attention from the same group of people who can shower them with more attention and concern since their parents cant be with them for various reasons. of course, not all kids are without their parents but most who stay in for the weekends dont.

really, i find today's activity very meaningful, hence, thinkin i had an eventful weekend even though there werent much activities and all.

last week was japanese cuisine, this week's thai food! a great recommendation - aroy thai @ funan IT mall, level 4.

the best thai food we have had as yet. this restaurant is opened by thais, so it's confirmed authetic thai food, yummilicious!

the ice tea (cha yen or something) tastes differently from our normal teh-bing and it's worth mentioning because it's nice. the first time i had this was when we visited the thai restaurant at golden mile, couldnt quite get use to the taste but now, it tastes perfectly. see the coconut with some otah curry look-alike, it's VERRRRYYYYY nice! resemble the ah-mok fish we had in cambodia and it's very good. and of cos, very traditional clear tom yum soup. lastly, the roommate loves the prawn vermicelli. very yummy indeed!

this restaurant has been around for quite a long while, ever since i started selling lappies in funan durin uni, it was already there and established. but disclaimer, the food doesnt come anywhere near cheap. this meal costs us $78++.

4.5 thumbs up!

note: 5 is full score la!
