something interestin that i saw in amara and i quickly took out the only camera (the one in my o2) that i brought out and here you go, a happening 财神爷 on the escalator and holding onto a obiang-ness trolley bag! how cool is that, haha.
it's been a pretty eventful day, so this should be quite a long entry.
first up, lunch with my future roommate aka zw aka mr.tan @ the coffee club harbourfront. he's going to be known as the roommate, or rather, we are going to call each other roommate. haha. anyway, the food there is very nice!!! and i must admit that the photos taken from my o2 didnt really justify the taste and presentation of the food, opps.
breaded grilled dory & potatoes with sausages on some egg-and-cheese sauce. yummilicious though the fish's a bit dry. will taste better if the chef can add creamy garlic sauce. slurps.
roommate had the beef thingy, and though it looks totally boring on the camera, the taste of the beef is so thick and satisfying. the buttery mash potato is simply bagus!
we decided to forgo the mudpie @ coffee club as we've decided to utilize our haagen-dazs vouchers before it expires. it was my first time at a haagen-dazs outlet and the prices overwhelmed the both of us. i would rather have ben & jerry given the prices @ haagen-dazs, too ex already la! nevertheless, we just want to use the vouchers. yummilicious ice cream & apple pie but it's just hard to convince myself to spend this kind of money over hi-tea. No way man, for a person who's going to save her cash. ha, i still have another 10 bucks voucher.

i'm $16.90! see, no way man!today's practically a feed-pig operations day. cos dinner was lo hei @ holland road with the gang! somehow as we grow older, the act of drinking beer in a kopitiam is sooo natural.

we arranged to meet at 730pm and he reached an hour later. though he did tell us not to wait for him, but how can we not wait when the lo hei MUST be the first dish?!? a pity that gracie couldnt make it due to her job committment, sigh, life being an auditor is really hard during peak period. and gracie, i dont know how to photoshop in ur pics, so sorry babe!

ordered 5 dishes, the famous XO crab bee hoon, prawn-sauce chicken, crispy toufu, butter prawns and of course veges for healthy living. unfortunately, urs truly was starving and had more interest conquering the food than to take pics of them. haha. so, only took the first 2 dishes and that's it.
hee, after dinner programme was a quick chill-out @ one rochester. had to be a quick one cos the rest are all working the next day. ambience is good but felt that the difference between here & villa bali is that rochester is just a very modern and jazzy villa bali. and villa bali has a wider variety of finger food! =)
most challenging drink of the night, chang & his BMW martini, a mix of baileys, malibu and whisky. super gao3!
our colourful frozen magaritas, still love the strawberry one the best!
