new toy!!!

ixus 70
got the black one cos it looks retro and matches the colour of my gucci bag perfectly! haha. think monkey pouch is goin to be the new home for my cam. at least, the ixus 70 still fit my need of a sleek camera. grin. and im going to name my cam, still thinkin thru the names though. any suggestions?

got ixus 70 cos sam said the i7 zoom is cui one and it's an old model. oh well, and since both his partner and himself and of cos, mr tan, said that a coloured cam = not a good cam; i've decided to stick with canon and made the best out of it. haha. yay!!!

looking forward. hee.

oh and in case u guys wonder who sam & partner are, their shop is located @ funan level 5, somewhere in front or behind (cos it depends on the going up/down direction of the escalator) the escalator nearer to city hall. shop name is 'john 3:16'. extremely knowledgable, extremely friendly and extremely reasonable prices.

anyway zw got the black powershot, very nice!!!

dilemma

again! and great, dilemma right at the beginning of the new year!!! arghz.

i've always wanted to get a red camera, and when i finally get down to look at the different models and design, i actually fell in love with the canon i7 zoom, the sepia & gold one. though i cant quite convince myself regarding the shape of the cam, the colour is too chio to resist! alright, i admit i'm not interested in the specs at all. i just need a chio and sleek camera that i can bring with me everyday. =) and my ideal is a chio red camera. slurps! but now, because of the i7 zoom, i feel like forsaking the possession of a red camera. stuck. on one hand, i havent really found a nice red camera yet (i dont like the sony one and though casio does have a not bad red cam, i've known casio only for their watches..hmmmm.)



how how how? any models to introduce?

second goal setting i've attended since yesterday.

5 characteristics that are deemed most important, in my opinion, to achieve my end-point:

1. Desire
2. Discipline
3. Perserverance
4. Focus
5. Realism

Not going to do any explanation. i just cross my fingers and pray that i can do it this year, will be real 丢脸 if i did not again. faints. though this year is not an extremely good year for the piggies, can i just work hard this year??? less distractions please. ha, and since this is a 旺 year for the peeps born in 牛, 蛇, 羊 and chicken year, i shall refrain from playing mahjong with them. one distraction down! also, the feng shui master says that the piggies should do lots of planning this year, thus i went around to look for my 2008 diary despite having to squeeze around with the working crowd who had just knocked off at around 630pm just now. no more procrastination!

looking forward to 2008. =)

Change.

Heraclitus, one of the more significant greek philosophers around, once said this:

"The only constant in this universe is changes."

though it's not in his exact words, the content is. how i admire this sentence, yet at the same time, fear it. I admire because it's impressive and so true; the theory is so simple yet a lot of us only manage to look at this world superficially and days after days just passed without us realizing. I fear because of uncertainty, because of comfort zone, because of reality. however, it is inevitable that changes are necessary for evolution, for strategic business decisions, for erhmmm, a better tomorrow?

personally, im alright with changes because i believe no one person is indispensable in this world. though i admit it comes with efforts to adapt to the new environment (depends on how big the change) and lots of 舍不得.

I applaud her for making this decision. though she will still be around after the decision is made official, i will miss her and us. a big thank you to you for all that you've done, i know it is not an easy deicision for you to make, to let go of the efforts that you've put in over the years, to let go of us.

all the best to your next advancement, hope you will excel as successfully as you have done over here. =)
